Our Mission
Operation Empower aims to empower Nepali and other Ethnic Minority Youth in Hong Kong in their holistic development, and in turn, their accomplishment of life missions.
Our VISIOn
By 2030, we envision the Nepali and other ethnic minority youth of Hong Kong, are building a joyful, healthy and vibrant community that is well integrated into the society of Hong Kong. They start to pay it forward and empower others.

Meet the Team
Wyman Tang
Wyman Tang is the co-founder of Operation Empower. He is also a lecturer in the department of anthropology at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research interests lie in Nepali cultures and social engagement. He has been researching on Nepali cultures since 2006 and involving in social engagement projects since 2014.
Jimmy Pak
Jimmy has over twenty years of management experience in Sales, Marketing and General Management in various Multi-national Corporations.
In 2000, Jimmy cofounded Net-Makers Limited to start the journey of integration of faith, work and business. He has now about twenty years of marketplace pastoring, mentoring and ministry experience.
He is a certified interpretation consultant of MBTI Step II, a certified coach in LEA360 Leadership Effective assessment instruments and a certified Gallup Strengths-Based Coach.
Royal Sunar
Royal Sunar has been a Project Coordinator and one of the coaches of Kabaddi United Hong Kong since 2018. Royal believes that small changes make a big difference, and music and sports can contribute to integration in a multicultural society. By transferring the knowledge and skills of music and sports to youth, he hopes to see them follow their passion and fulfill their dream.
Rojit
Rojit was born and raised in Nepal. He moved to Hong Kong to get higher education and started studying from Secondary Form 3. Since small, he has been active in sports. He heard about Kabaddi United Hong Kong (KUHK) on one occasion and joined their activities. Since 2020, he has become a regular member of KUHK and helped out at OEMP to teach kabaddi and conduct cultural projects, like Theeng & Shing comics. His vision is to see Hong Kong becoming a more culturally integrated society.
